Happiness and well-being is a consequence, not objective.
I assume that you have a computer and you have access to the internet. That already makes you luckier than about 80% of the world's population.
I also assume that therefore that you do not have to worry about when you're going to have you next meal. If I'm right, you're a very lucky person who has no reason to worry about your life.
You might as well make something good out of what you've got and writing e-mails isn't going to help you get anywhere.
Each person has so much potential, but rarely ever uses it. If you sold your computer, you could probably feed an African village for over a year with the money you get. I doubt you'd do that, but think about it a bit.
Most people don't have the time or the opportunity to worry about their life (they've got too much else to worry about - ie. feeding themselves) let alone to be able to do it over the internet.
You're a very lucky person, just try and realise that.
