my sister was instantly struck by Eric Arthur Blair's pen-name when i mentioned that Orson Welles' real name was in fact George Orson Welles. ( George Or-Well...)
Does anyone know where his pen-name comes from? was it coincidence, or was he inspired by the brilliant actor?
