George Orwell wasn't an exceptional writer. He has written a lot of technically average books. Only two of his works are literally interesting (1984 and animal farm.) They are very indigenously and enthusiasticly written. Furthermore in these two books Orwell succeeded to condense his ideology. Unlike in some of his earlier ones.

Orwell's other works are aslo very interesting but not for they literal quality.

George Orwell was magnificent thinker and 1984 was his main work. So I think that's good enough reason for 1984 to be a classic.

I'd like to continue on this subject. If anyone has opinions please reply.
