I absolutely agree. The only thing I take exception to is the word 'dreary'in relation to the book '1984'.
Last night on the BBC news was a short piece stating that a man had been arrested at Waterloo Station under the 'terrorism act' and was being questioned at Paddington Green Police Station. It is, probably, true but I expect that we will hear no more about this. However the drip feed of this sort of thing will be very useful to the government. The inclusion of familiar detail-Waterloo Station, Paddington Green-make it more effective. But as the article says, it is not yet too late, another item on the news detailed previous US support for the Taliban when it seemed expedient.
