Many common denominators are mentioned in the novel and in the Internet
song.
There is the same topic in both texts, it is the control over the people.
In the novel one can see the control and the power, because of the
government that controls the population, in the song, exactly in the first strophe it
refers to the "Big
Brother", because of the possibility of sending much e-mail bombs with the
internet.
Second one can say that in both texts one figure can decide alone over the
whole
domain. In the novel the government can decide over the whole
country,in the song is said that Bill Gates has so much power in economy
that he can control the "computer world" because of his huge company Micros
