Winston believes himself to be in love with Julia. And I don't know, maybe she loves him back. The whole time they are together, they know the Party will one day find them and capture them, which they eventually do. There's a conversation they have beforehand though, where they talk about betraying each other if they are captured. Julia tells him he can betray her, because he is under torture and she knows in her heart that he really does love her even if he says he doesn't. But in the end, when Winston is in room 101, he does betray her fully and completely; he sorta stopped loving her, because he wanted o'brien to sacrifice her to the rats, not him. He truly didn't care what happened to her as long as it wasn't him, because of his fear of rats. In the end, they had betrayed each other, and it sorta destroyed any type of relationship they could ever have.
