animalism vs. marxism - there is a symbolic connection to these two ideologies. Mollie in Animal Farm represents the one flaw that Orwell saw in Marxism-the fact that human nature is greedy. Orwell believed that Marxism could never work because there would always be one greedy so and so that would become corrupted and selfish along the way. He liked the idea, but saw the realistic nature of humans.
Animal farm was a political satire on the Russian revolution. In your searches online look for Stalinism, Marxism, the Russian Revolution, communism, socialism, world war two, and hitler. These are all in the novel.
