basically this is just a short thing that is very straight to the point i want to make, and that point is that globalisation is the road to global totalatarianism.
first of all i want to quote thomas jefferson back in 1816, this quote is in regards to america and i will explain its relevence to today later, in 1816 he said that...."the country is headed toward a single and splendid government of an aristocracy founded on banking institutions and monied incorporations and if this tendency continues it will be the end of freedom and democracy the few would be riding and ruling over the plundered plowman and the begger in the omenry." now this is what he said in 1816.
of course their were alot of democrats in early america that opposed the huge banks and corporations that were devoloping, if you read adam smith you may well know what i mean. (of course he's english, but there was abe lincoln, rutherford.b.hayes and so on.)
next i take the quote from john dewey.
"the very institutions of private power undermine freedom and democracy.....private control of banking land indutsry reinforced by command of the press press agents and other means of publicity and propaganda that is the system of actual power the source of coersion and until it is unravelled we cannot yadayadayada......."
so he is basically saying that privitaisatiuon is a bad thing for freedom and democracy.
now the london financial times has called the IMF/world bank, GATT, G8, wto etc... a de-facto world government, and these institutions represent precisly the transnational banks and corporations that thomas jefferson and john dewey and others quite openly challenged. and if you study this stuff, then you would have heard of GATS general agreement on trades and services. this is basically a bill to privatise, not just in one but every member of the wto country, to privatise thier schools library water food public transport electricity and all other things that are currently under the rush to be privatised and are all held dear to the people and could be used by the bourguise as an instiution of coercion.
so if this is passed not only will john deweys quote will relate to aworld of puke and disgusting starvation held up by the brutal represion by the police to uphold the status quo of the most ignorant of politicians while people feast on a diet of nicole kidman a dose of OJ and some don king.
