(I thought that anyone who reads Orwell knows what Konrad Henlein did, and what happened in Czechoslovakia in thirties - how the Sudetendeutsche minority was used by Hitler to manufacture the crisis that ended up in Munich Conference wholesale give-in by Chamberlein. And so on.)
At any rate, isn't it curious, that you get only two kinds of people here on your Orwell pages: First the poor bastards who would rather read Sports Ilustrated (or nothing at all) - if it wasn't for their awfull high school teacher who orders them to read 1984. And then, of course, there are the nuts, neo-nacis and paranoid permanent rebels (among others), who all think that Orwell wrote about their causes.
The Orwell politic writings are first rate - but apart from that, don't you get sometimes tired of the whole Orwell project?
